Doorknocker
The front of the funnel. You knock doors in storm-affected and target neighborhoods, identify homeowners who need work, and hand qualified leads to the sales team. Commission only — your pay follows the leads you generate and the jobs that close.
What You'll Do
- ▸Knock targeted neighborhoods and identify storm damage / repair needs
- ▸Book qualified inspections with homeowners
- ▸Distribute pre-approved door hangers and yard signs
- ▸Hand off clean leads to the sales team
- ▸Log all activity through Hookset's approved systems
Salesperson
You own the sale. Run on-site estimates, present approved proposals, price within Hookset's margin requirements, and close the job. Commission on gross profit — full-margin sales pay best, discounting hurts your check.
What You'll Do
- ▸Conduct on-site inspections and scope projects
- ▸Present approved proposals and price within margin limits
- ▸Close jobs and execute approved contracts
- ▸Coordinate with production on scheduling and handoff
- ▸Maintain customer communication through approved systems
Desk Advisor
Inside sales and support. You handle inbound calls, follow up on leads generated by doorknockers, answer customer questions, and close jobs over the phone. A desk-based role for someone who can sell without standing on a roof.
What You'll Do
- ▸Answer inbound calls and qualify incoming leads
- ▸Follow up on leads handed off by doorknockers
- ▸Present approved proposals and close deals remotely
- ▸Schedule inspections and coordinate with field sales
- ▸Document all customer communication in Hookset's CRM
